Ebell/Flint Scholarship Terms and Conditions

Ebell/Flint Scholarship Terms and Conditions 2024

All Ebell Scholars have excellent academic records, demonstrated financial need, and strong personal character as evidenced through a commitment to their community and leadership ability. The definitions of leadership and community are different for each student. It may be related to a student’s school community, city community, religious community, extra-curricular involvement, or family members who require some form of support. Because we consider the scholarships our gift to the community, we choose scholarship recipients who share our feeling of responsibility for the communities in which we all live.

The Ebell Scholarship awards students at two-year schools, such as community colleges, $3,000 annually and $5,000 per year to students at 4-year colleges and universities. Awards are issued in two disbursements each academic year: the first one in the fall at our Scholars Awards Night and the second disbursement in the spring at our Scholars Breakfast. A student can receive an Ebell Scholarship award for a maximum of 3 years or until the student attains a Bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first, as long as the student continues to maintain her or his eligibility.
