African Americans for LA Opera (AALAO), a chapter of the Opera League, is dedicated to increasing the awareness of opera throughout the Los Angeles area and to providing a center for African American opera lovers in Los Angeles.

Lyric soprano Ashley Fabian, praised for her silvery tone and smooth legato, will perform alongside pianist Lucas Nogara, in memory of late AALAO Chairperson, Michael Melton.

A light reception will follow.
