In October of 1894, the first meeting of the Ebell of Los Angeles was convened in the parlor of Misses Emmie H. and Alice Parson. Members paid a $1 initiation fee, $2 for dues and brought a cup and saucer to be donated to the club.
In the spirit of that first meeting, you are invited to the Cup and Saucer Initiation Dinner to welcome our new members from the Class of 2018-2019 with a reception, dinner and short program called Ebell 101. In addition, new members (Cups) will meet their assigned Ebell mentors (Saucers) signifying the first of many new friends.
