

ZOOM Author Talk: Invisible Queen with Dr. Stephanie Myers | February 21

Dr. Stephanie Myers, author of Invisible Queen, will talk about her book that tells the story of Charlotte Sophia, a smart mixed-race German girl who was recruited to marry George III, King of England. Queen Charlotte reigned as Queen of England and Ireland for 57 years. She was an educated woman in the 1700s, with Moorish/Black Heritage who actively opposed the Atlantic Slave Trade; birthed 15 children; entertained Colonial U.S. Presidents John Adams and Thomas Jefferson; was a dedicated aide to orphaned girls and much more.
This exciting ZOOM author talk is being held in conjunction with Ebell Book Chamber and is open to all members and the public. Invisible Queen is the Chamber’s selection for the month of February, and the event takes place instead of their usual 6:30 pm monthly book talk. About the Author: Dr. Stephanie E. Myers is Vice President of R.J. Myers Publishing Company and National Co-Chair of Black Women for Positive Change. She served as a Presidential Appointee for 12 years and authorized the first U.S. commercial space launch of a privately owned rocket.
