In June, the Ebell Juniors presented their formation as a sub-committee at a themed “June-iors” confab. Originally formed in 1921 as an auxiliary organization for daughters and granddaughters of Ebell members, the Juniors have played an important role in the club’s history.
Members from the new Juniors sub-committee shared their mission to foster a vibrant community of young, career-oriented members and promote programming that accommodates their dynamic schedules. The revitalization plan aims to provide fresh perspectives and encourage intergenerational interactions to enrich the club’s traditions and preserve its legacy. The Juniors are committed to being the bridge between the past and the future, ensuring that Ebell continues to thrive for years to come.
The Juniors are open to all members and meet once a month on Thursday evenings. If you are interested in joining the Juniors sub-committee and contributing to this exciting revitalization effort, please email emmacolbywelch@gmail.com for more information.
