Gold & Silver Holiday Ball

Saturday, December 16
Gold & Silver Holiday Ball

Indulge in the magic of the season with a night of culinary delights and rhythmic enchantment.

As you arrive at this year’s Holiday Ball, you’ll be welcomed by a string trio and treated to a three-course dinner featuring a feast of seasonal flavors. After dinner, take to the dance floor and be swept away by the live band, Heathers on Fire, with a mix of classic holiday tunes and your favorite dance hits. Magician Tom Frank’s showmanship will leave you spellbound.

Set with twinkling lights and elegant decor, this holiday dinner is the perfect opportunity to don your finest holiday attire, gather with loved ones and create lasting memories (which you’ll be able to keep forever thanks to the fun photobooth!). So round up your friends, or come alone, but either way, put on your dancing shoes and get ready to party.

Luminous Resonance Chorale Holiday Concert & Tea

Monday, December 18
Luminous Resonance
Chorale Holiday Concert & Tea

The Ebell Chorale will present an exciting lineup of holiday choral works exploring the theme of  light (and the lack of it!). The pieces will come in similar and contrasting pairs (“Resonance”)––texts, music, tonality (or the lack of tonality!), and cultural context––taking the audience on a visual and timbral journey from dark to light (“Luminous”). The program features selections from Britten’s beloved A Ceremony of Carols, an SSA adaptation of Renaissance composer Morley’s Fyre, Fyre, Vivaldi’s Gloria in excelsis Deo, a 12th-century Sufi Chant of Love, a Chinese equivalent of Jingle Bells , and a handful of familiar holiday selections!

The concert will feature Heeseong Lee on the piano and a string quartet from the USC Thornton School of Music.

2:00 pm Free Concert
3:00 pm Tea
