History came alive this weekend at The Ebell as we welcomed over 200 @girlscoutsla for Girl Scouts Patch Day! The scouts got a chance to tour our historic venue and witness living history characters in each room. Each of these characters were women responsible for shaping the history of LA & The Ebell.

All scouts received a special Ebell patch at the end of their tour!

History came alive this weekend at The Ebell as we welcomed over 200 @girlscoutsla for Girl Scouts Patch Day! The scouts got a chance to tour our historic venue and witness living history characters in each room. Each of these characters were women responsible for shaping the history of LA & The Ebell. 🍃✨ @thegardenconservancy is excited to bring Professor Laura J. Martin to @wilshireebelltheatre to deliver the keynote address at the Frank Lloyd Wright Garden Symposium next week! 🍃✨

Laura’s talk at the symposium will expand on research from her book about three contemporaries of Frank Lloyd Wright’s
- Elizabeth Britton, Eloise Butler, and Edith Roberts- and their pioneering research on native plants. Their stories illuminate different dimensions of Wright’s own interest in native plants as well as the important role played by women in America’s early native plant movement.

We will be giving away a brand-new “The Ebell of Los Angeles” patch! 👧🏻

This FREE event is open to Girl Scouts of all levels, parents, and leaders, with tagalongs welcome. Remember to wear your uniform and keep to adult/girl ratios, as no drop-offs are allowed.
