Join us for a special Monday Lunch with Capri Maddox, Executive Director of the Los Angeles Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department (LA Civil Rights). Appointed by Mayor Eric Garcetti as the department’s first Executive Director in February 2020, Ms. Maddox leads the charge in addressing systemic racism and bias in the areas of commerce, education, employment, and housing.

Under her leadership, LA Civil Rights partners with key commissions, including the Commission on Civil Rights, the Commission on the Status of Women, the Reparations Commission, the Human Relations Commission, and the Transgender Advisory Council, to create a more equitable future for all.
