Black History Month is a time to honor the achievements, contributions, and legacies that have shaped our shared history and culture. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the richness of heritage and reflect on stories that continue to inspire us.
Explore the 44th Annual Black Doll Show at the William Grant Still Arts Center on a special field trip featuring a hands-on workshop with this year’s curator, Aiysha Sinclair.
During the workshop, you’ll learn the cultural significance of Abayomi dolls and create your own unique piece to take home. The Black Doll Show is a long-standing tradition celebrating Black heritage, artistry, and storytelling through the medium of dolls.
Join us for this creative and meaningful outing as we connect with art and history in a unique way.
