The Ebell of Los Angeles is accepting submissions for its Annual Women's Symposium on Thursday, March 27, 2025, focusing on the hidden histories of remarkable women in Los Angeles. Organized by The Ebell Institute for the Study of Women’s History, the symposium seeks to highlight the contributions of visionary women often overlooked in historical narratives, emphasizing diversity, inclusivity, and intersectionality. The event will feature three panels and a keynote address, and selected participants will receive a $300 honorarium. We encourage submissions from scholars, graduate students, and undergraduates based in the Los Angeles area, with an abstract (up to 250 words) due by Friday, February 21, 2025.
