Voices of Asia celebrates the vibrant cultural tapestry of LA's Asian communities, featuring local artists performing music rooted in their heritage. Blending traditional and contemporary works from across Asia, the program unites professional and youth artists in a powerful, multicultural performance. This year the program will include music and performances from the following countries: India, Thailand, Korea, China, Japan, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Pieces performed include a composition by renowned Chinese-American composer Nathan Wang and the world premiere of a new work by Daroo Lee, commissioned by Vibra Voce to mark the 6th annual Voices of Asia concert.
Vibra Voce, founded by Korean-American soprano Sunjoo Yeo, has been hosting diverse community concerts across Los Angeles since 2018. Dedicated to empowering emerging artists and fostering cultural connections, Vibra Voce curates performances that make classical music accessible to broader audiences.
LA VOICES is made possible in part through the generous support of Visionary Women.
