We provide unique opportunities to bring the magic of the arts into the classroom, or to bring your students directly into our historic venue. Shadow Days

For students with a passion for the arts, our Shadow Day program offers a deep dive into the behind-the-scenes world of theatre. This immersive experience allows students to work closely with theatre professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of roles, from lighting and sound design to costume and set creation.

For Students

At The Wilshire Ebell Theatre, we believe in nurturing the next generation of theatre professionals. Our student programming is designed to offer hands-on learning and immersive experiences for aspiring actors and industry talent. From our Acting Up! class, which builds essential performance skills through interactive activities and scene work, to our paid internship program that provides invaluable behind-the-scenes exposure, we offer students the chance to grow and excel in the dynamic world of theatre.

Acting Up! Acting Class

Acting Up! is a course designed to encourage students to grow in their acting skills through individual monologues and group scenes. Through games, activities, scene work, discussion and exercises, we will lay the foundation for a greater understanding of and appreciation for the art of acting.

Wilshire Ebell Theatre Internships

Our paid internship program offers an exciting opportunity for students aged 16 and up to gain hands-on experience in the theatre industry. Whether you're interested in technical production, stage management, marketing, or general operations, this internship allows you to work side-by-side with industry professionals and learn the ropes of running a Broadway-style theatre.
