Live in the Lounge: Aubrey Situmorang Brings the Bass in partnership with Leimert Park Jazz Festival
Thursday, November 5, 2026
7:30 pm

Step into the shadows of our historic lounge for a one-of-a-kind after-dark series, where the city fades away and the music takes over.

Indonesian-born, LA-based, and armed with serious groove, Aubrey has shared the stage with Grammy-winning pianist Billy Childs, double-platinum artist Bipolar Sunshine, and singer/producer SASAMI. A full-tuition scholar at Berklee College of Music, she trained under legends like John Patitucci, Terence Blanchard, and Steve Bailey before hitting the road hard, touring North America and Australia with The Life and Music of

George Michael, packing 2,000-capacity theaters that have hosted everyone from B.B. King to Led Zeppelin.

From selling out LA's legendary Baked Potato to opening for Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Soccer Mommy at major festivals, Aubrey brings serious stage presence and even more serious bass chops. Her album One Point One earned a nomination for Best Jazz Album at Indonesia's Anugerah Musik Indonesia.

Come experience it up close, intimate, electric, and unlike anywhere else in the city.
