Celebrate 13 Years of Strong Words with an All-Women Lineup at The Ebell!

Strong Words has served up live storytelling to adventurous audiences for over 13 years. What started as a salon in Silver Lake has grown to a monthly show with guest appearances at LA Made, Palm Springs Art Museum, and The Autry. Drawing performers from across the L.A. cultural landscape, Strong Words celebrates their 100th show in 2024.

Following the motto, “Must be true, must be you!” Strong Words presents five dynamic women performing personal stories, each in their unique voice. Among them is the brilliant Sandra Tsing Loh — acclaimed writer, performer, and commentator known for her sharp wit and unforgettable storytelling. Joining her are Katie Reeves Northlich, Leilani Smith, and Cheri Lynne VandenHeuvel.

Curated by writer/producer Marlene Nichols, creator of Museum of Safekeeping, plus special musical guest Rachel Grace who has performed with Foo Fighters, Ariana Grande and more.
