The Everywhere of Her is an imaginative and musical celebration of three remarkable women who each helped shape Los Angeles. At an event honoring Amelia Earhart as the first woman to complete a trans-Atlantic flight, Charlotta Bass—owner and publisher of the California Eagle—Katherine Sui Fun Cheung, the first Chinese-licensed female pilot, and Dolores del Río, a Mexican star of American and Mexican cinema, meet for the first time.
They discover they have far more in common than they expected. Though history books may try to erase their astonishing accomplishments, individually and together they will change the world.
In this intimate staging, set in the historic Lounge on The Ebell campus, audiences will experience a reimagined presentation of the production, designed for a more personal and up-close setting. The heart of the piece remains—a moving tribute to voices history tried to erase, and to the impact these women made together.
