GRAMMY In The Schools Live! Showcases The Power Of Music & Educators Who Change Lives
GRAMMY in the Schools® is the umbrella name for the education activities of the GRAMMY Museum® and GRAMMY in the Schools Live! is a fund-raising concert event presented during GRAMMY Week to celebrate music and music education. This event:
• Raises funds to provide needs-based grants to high school music departments, scholarships to help students attend GRAMMY Camp® and support to all the local, regional, and national education activities of the GRAMMY Museum.
• 100% of the net proceeds go directly to these programs and activities.
• Features performances by alumni representing the GRAMMY in the Schools programs.
• Has previously featured guest performers such as: Sara Bareilles, Hunter Hayes, Juanes and Sam Hunt among others.
• Provides young people from around the region the opportunity to be brought to the event, free of charge, many from at-risk and underserved areas to experience and enjoy the show. It is also open to the public.
• Is sponsored by Ford Motor Company
