A Note from Your Special Events Team

There are so many things we love about working at The Ebell. There is you, our community, first and foremost. We enjoy the opportunities to be right there with you as you celebrate life’s most precious moments with your family and friends.

The other wonderful thing about walking into the Ebell’s grand doors every day is the legacy and history of the Women’s club and Wilshire campus. The living history told by our long-standing members along with photos and archives paint a picture of an era long before us. If the walls could speak, we’d have more stories than we could ever put on paper. We invite you to step into this world with us and be a part of the legacy.

Our 2023 calendar is open for your wedding, corporate event, birthday, celebration of life, or holiday extravaganza. Contact us anytime via email, inquiry@ebellofla.org or phone 323-931-1277. Our office hours are typically Monday-Saturday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and will vary due to our events schedule.

We look forward to seeing you all soon!

On Monday 5/15 @ebellofla partnered with @writersblocla to host a Q&A between @TomHanks and @JGHorn of @Laistofficial about Hanks’ new novel, “The Making of Another Motion Picture Masterpiece.

In this clip, Tom Hanks references a conversation with SAG actor, Steve De Relian where he learns that Steve’s first acting gig was on the set of Forrest Gump here at The Ebell of Los Angeles in 1993. Steve went on to become a lawyer after one last acting gig with Hanks.

In the referenced scene you’ll see Steve, the wounded soldier tell Forrest to “turn that shit off” in the scene just before he learns how to play ping pong on our third floor.”
