Thursday, March 21, 2024 — 6:00 pm

In honor of Women’s History Month, The Ebell of Los Angeles is thrilled to be sponsoring and hosting “A Woman’s Place” Juried Art Exhibition, meant to reflect on how women inspire and connect to the world internally, externally, narratively, abstractly, and figuratively.

Nearly 900 works from 338 artists were submitted and reviewed by an esteemed panel of jurors including Shana Nys Dambrot (Arts Editor for the L.A. Weekly), Taylor Bythewood-Porter (independent curator and writer and former Assistant Curator at CAAM), and Amy Scott (Executive Vice President of Research and Interpretation and the Marilyn B. and Calvin B. Gross Curator of Visual Arts at The Autry Museum).

Selected works will be displayed and artists celebrated at this Opening Reception.  Following the Opening Reception, viewing will be available through April 30 by appointment only, or during other Ebell events.

All artwork in the exhibition will be available for sale.
