Nature’s beauty is all around us, even in the big city. We only need to stop and look. As Earth Day approaches, Nurit Katz is joining us to give us a close-up view of our backyard and city-wide species, filtered through her lens and enhanced by her exceptional professional expertise.
As UCLA’s first Chief Sustainability Officer, she is facilitating the creation of a world-class living laboratory for sustainability on campus, but she also makes time for wildlife photography and membership in the Audubon Society. She will share more of her spectacular images and birder knowledge, and give us the updates on what birders are saying about how climate and our recent sheltering-in-place life has affected our feathered friends.
