In-Person Field Trip: LA Area Scene Paintings Exhibition | June 18
- This event has passed.
Friday, June 18, 2021 — 1:30 pm
Join our field trip to the Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University
Following our recent Speaker Program on the Multiverse of Millard Sheets, the founder of the Hilbert Museum has extended an invitation for a personal tour of their highly acclaimed and soon-to-close exhibition featuring a number of top-tier works by Sheets along with other noteworthy California artists. The emphasis is on vibrant paintings of everyday life in 20th century Los Angeles and its surrounding areas.
As we learned at the program, this museum will also become the future home of Sheets’ mosaic work of the former Home Savings Bank in Santa Monica.
Let’s celebrate our ability to reconnect and go as a group like our past Ebell Field Trips!
