Women’s History Month Luncheon with the National Women’s History Museum
The History and Legacy of Women Activists
Beginning with the early African-American women abolitionist groups of the 1830s, through ratification of the 19th Amendment and beyond, activists changed society, including achieving the designation of Women’s History Month.
Honor Women’s History Month with changemakers in the feminist movement: Susan Scanlan, who helped found the Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues and its policy arm; and Elana Pianko-Ginsburg, a member of the Board of the National Women’s History Museum and the chair of its Los Angeles Council.
