Makers’ Circle Series | February 17

  • This event has passed.

Saturday, February 17, 2024 — 10:00 am

Are you a lifelong knitter, crocheter, needlepointer, jewelry maker or fiber/paper artist? Or have you never tried making things, but would like to know how?  The Makers’ Circle is a new group, meeting once a month on a Saturday morning at The Ebell, where you can bring your works in progress, get peer help with projects you’re stuck on, swap ideas and techniques, or learn a brand new skill, all while sitting down with other “makers”, chatting, sipping coffee and snacking in the glorious surroundings of The Ebell.

For our session on Saturday, February 17, we will be celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year as Ruiyuan Meng demonstrates how to make Chinese cut-outs, a Chinese Lunar New Year tradition. We’ll also be sampling some seasonal Chinese snacks while we work!

Just bring with you some small scissors, pen and small ruler.
