AALAO: Michael Melton Memorial Fall Recital | October 22

Join the AALAO (African Americans for LA Opera) with The Ebell of Los Angeles for the Michael Melton Memorial Fall Recital. Enjoy a special performance by two incredibly talented and acclaimed performers – vocalist India Carney and pianist Dr. James Lent. The concert will honor the late Michael Melton, and a reception will follow.

Vocalist India Carney has been featured on the VMA’s, The Voice, Grammy Awards, Coachella, American Idol, and more. She has toured and performed with famous musicians including Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga.

Pianist Dr. James Lent has been on the UCLA School of Music faculty since 2009, and the Principal Music Faculty at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood. He has a multitude of experiences being on the faculty of many prestigious academies and festivals.
