Julia LongJoin Ebell member Julia Long for a walking tour of historic Downtown LA. You’ll learn about the women who traveled hundreds of miles across the frontier to help civilize the Wild West, and the women who designed their workplaces. We’ll walk in the footsteps of LA’s first female police officers, lawyers, and even our first female mayor! We’ll travel back to the Golden Age of Hollywood and the dusty streets of Old Chinatown. Come see the buildings where these pioneering women performed, made discoveries, ran businesses, raised children, fought for the rights of others, and socialized with like-minded friends and neighbors.

The total length of the tour will be 1.2 miles and about 2 hours. Parking is available at Union Station East for a flat rate of $8. Entrances can be found on Cesar Chavez Ave. and Vignes St.
