Salastina Concert: Youth At The Altar | May 10

We are thrilled to invite you to an evening of musical innovation presented by our newest Ebell partner, the visionary chamber ensemble Salastina. Each year, Salastina selects up to 10 young composers worldwide to take part in its Sounds Promising Young Composers Program. This program is zero-cost for all participants and has resulted in life-changing professional development – and even high-profile commissions.

Each composer will pen a piece for our entire ensemble – piano, string quartet, and flute – taking inspiration from Bach’s Chaconne. Resident Pianist HyeJin Kim opens the program with Busoni’s arrangement of the same work.

Following the performance, we invite you to join us for a wine and munchies reception.
