Speaker Series: Conversation with Hollywood Legend Nancy Olson Livingston | November 21

Nancy Olson Livingston will discuss her life and work with Patt Morrison, historian and columnist for The Los Angeles Times. Ms. Livingston is perhaps best known for her role as Betty Schaefer in the iconic film Sunset Boulevard (1950), for which she was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category at the Academy Awards. Her life following that breakout role was filled with wild Hollywood characters and drama worthy of Billy Wilder.

In her memoir, Front Row Seat, Ms. Livingston reflects on 94 years of run-ins with the twentieth century’s most influential figures, including her marriages to Alan Jay Lerner—the creator of My Fair Lady, which he dedicated to her—and Alan Livingston—former president of Capitol Records and key figure in the careers of Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, and the Beatles.
