Member Spotlight: Marce Raether | March 24

Marce will delight us and surprise us with her journey from farm to metropolis, and the adventures along the way.

The story begins with her rural roots in the upper Midwest where she really did attend the proverbial one-room schoolhouse. Upon graduation, leaving her many siblings and all her hometown friends behind, she ventured on her own to Minneapolis. She kept reaching, looking for the bigger and better opportunities that would lead her to California in a car that had no reverse gear. There was “no turning back”, she says! There was also no turning back when she found herself in the middle of the ocean on a small sailboat with no land in sight… for a month. Tune in to Zoom for more “adventures of Marce”, involving movie studio stories to her outer and inner explorations and then the grand, touching finale—a surprise “reveal”.
