December Book Chamber Choice

from Constance Hornig, Book Chamber Chair

December 1, 2020

Join us December 15 (the 3rd Tuesday) for holiday cheer and light conversation about the easy-going, undemanding, entertaining who-dunnit mystery we chose for this busy month: Still Life, by Louise Penny.  It’s attractions?  A Qubecoise small town, favorite maiden school teacher, nasty niece, self-sacrificing father, surprise will, amateur (?) painter, and a victim shot “through the heart” with an arrow on a deer trail.  ‘Tis the season for convening our special convocation of diverse, sweet and feisty, insightful and articulate, surprising and humorous, mild and merry, understated and outspoken, and generally delightful Ebell women to talk books . . . and more.
