Hailey Simmons
Membership & Development Assistant
As the Membership Assistant, I work with both Stacy Brightman and Meredyth Deighton to provide support for The Ebell’s fundraising, member programming, and community partnership efforts. I graduated from Mount Holyoke College—an historically women’s college—with a degree in Art History in 2019. Since then, I have worked in fundraising for political campaigns and arts nonprofits. I am delighted to return to a women-centered institution like The Ebell and am so looking forward to learning more about its rich history and culture!
Erika Newman
Theatre Business Coordinator
Erika Newman is the new Theatre Business Coordinator, working with Michael O’Connor to bring in a variety of amazing shows. She is joining us after spending time teaching theatre (CSArts, San Gabriel Valley and Antelope Valley College) and working in a variety of roles backstage. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Education, k-12 and her Master’s degree in Theatre Studies and has been involved in theatre arts since she was a young child. She is excited to begin her adventure here and looks forward to furthering the mission of The Ebell.
