August is traditionally a quiet month at The Ebell but this year is different.
Our historic campus is humming with weddings and other special events, which is welcome news to our financial bottomline. You’ll see lots of wedding photos in our social media channels and our events staff proudly share images from the special celebrations.
I am looking forward to getting to work with Stacy Brightman, our new Executive Director who starts this week. Stacy has also been onsite learning from Philip Miller and staff in preparation for taking over. We will be diving in soon, starting with meeting with each board director and their respective committees to plan for the coming year.
Finally, I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the upcoming Summer Barbecue on Sunday, August 8. I am so thankful to Meredyth and all The Ebell staff for all their efforts to organize a wonderful and safe event for all of us.
