Celebrating the Holidays

Dear Ebell Members:

How did it get to be November? As we prepare for a most unusual holiday season, I hope you and your families are well. I am pleased to report that the Ebell is hanging in there, thanks to your generosity and support and two hectic months of filming. Thankfully, we have been able to reschedule weddings that had been placed for the January and February to later in 2021. And, you will pleased to know that The Ebell is still getting contracts for weddings in 2022 as brides know our historic building will be open for their special day at some point when the pandemic is behind us.

In the meantime, we have not skipped a beat with our incredible offerings of virtual programs. Thanks to Phyllis Hansen and Loyce Braun, our Charter Day was one for the books. Listening to our members share their foundational stories was interesting and inspiring. If you missed it, consider watching the recording which can be accessed here.

Looking ahead, thanks to our clever, hardworking boutique duo of Karen Numme and Karlene Taylor, our annual holiday boutique has pivoted online. Not limited by time and place, Karen and Karlene have scoured the country to find the best makers who will be part of our virtual holiday boutique where 20 precent of all the sales support the club. Watch your inbox for more information on the launch and plan to support these small businesses and the Ebell.

Read on for more club news and stay safe.
